Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 11624, dated February 24, 1997, enter into a contract with Sinclair Pipeline Company of Carrollton, MO, in the actual amount of $41,426.10, for the improvement of Longview Road @ Blue Ridge, Project No. 2075-3; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 1 (final), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary due to pipeline being buried deeper than originally anticipated, causing additional rock to be encountered and additional trench material to be hauled and said change order will result in an increase not to exceed $41,426.10; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
