Body
WHEREAS, Vickie Wolgast has served as the Executive Director of the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce for over 18 years, demonstrating unparalleled dedication and commitment to the growth and prosperity of the South Kansas City community; and,
WHEREAS, under her leadership, the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce has seen a significant increase in investment, thanks in large part to Vickie's ability to bring people together, address critical issues, and foster collaboration among businesses, community leaders, and residents; and,
WHEREAS, Vickie Wolgast has been widely recognized as one of the most influential assets in the district, known for her reliability, grounded nature, and ability to navigate complex challenges with optimism and a focus on the greater good; and,
WHEREAS, her unwavering commitment to prioritizing projects, regardless of perceived importance, has made her an indispensable leader and a cornerstone of the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce's success; and,
WHEREAS, Vickie's involvement in any contract or initiative has consistently enhanced its value, earning her the reputation of being the keystone of countless successful endeavors within the community; and,
WHEREAS, even after announcing her retirement, Vickie Wolgast has chosen to remain actively involved in the development of Martin City by taking on the role of CID Manager, continuing her legacy of service and dedication to the community she loves; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the Legislature hereby recognizes and honors Vickie Wolgast for her outstanding service, visionary leadership, and lasting contributions as the Executive Director of the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, and extends its heartfelt appreciation and best wishes for her continued success in her new role; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature extends its deepest appreciation and commendation to Vickie Wolgast on the occasion of her retirement and acknowledges her enduring impact on South Kansas City and the many lives she has touched throughout her remarkable career.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
