IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE approving a conditional use permit for the operation of adult group quarters (boarding home) as to a certain 2 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2869, November 16, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. A conditional use permit for ten years for the operation of adult group quarters, (boarding home) subject to the restrictions specified below, under the Unified Development Code, is hereby approved as to a certain tract of land described as follows: Description: A 2 ñ acres generally located 1/4 of a mile east of Woods Chapel Road on the north side of Vesper Road and more specifically described: Part of the northeast quarter of section 35, township 49, north of the baseline, range 31, west of the fifth principle meridian, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as commencing at the northeast corner of said section 35; thence south 2 degrees 17 minutes 00 seconds West 13.75 feet to the southerly right of way line of the Chicago & Alton Railroad Company; thence south 68 degrees 03 minutes 24 seconds west 306.05 feet along said right of way; thence south 02 degrees 13 minutes 40 seconds west 989.33 feet to the true point of beginning at a point on the easterly line of a tract recorded as document number I 1085765 in book 2206 at page 136 in the office of the Recorder for Jackson County; thence continuing south 02 degrees 13 minutes 40 seconds west 199.71 feet; thence south 68 degrees 00 minutes 55 seconds west 326.55 feet; thence north 88 degrees 09 minutes 56 seconds west 30.00 feet to a point of the easterly line of a tract recorded as document I 0063297 in book 2906 at page 2352; thence north 2 degrees 14 minutes 04 seconds east 301.02 feet along said line; thence north 86 degrees 30 minutes 32 seconds east 329.43 feet to the true point of beginning and containing 1.930 acres more or less. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Paul and Doris Collier, (CU-98-038), requesting approval embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on October 29, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
