AN ORDINANCE appropriating $57,580.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 County Urban Roa System Fund and authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute an Agreement with Kansas Cit Southern Railroad Company in connection with the Longview Road at Blue Ridge Project No. 2075-3, at a cost to the County not to exceed $57,580.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the construction of Longview Road at Blue Ridge, Project 2075-3, requires a new railroad ridge be constructed within the area from Applewood to Blue Ridge; and,
WHEREAS, a shoo-fly must be constructed to reroute railroad traffic during the construction of the bridge; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the attached Agreement, the Kansas City Southern Railroad Co. and the County ill cooperate in the necessary construction; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropria ion be and hereby is made from the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CHARACTER/DESCRIPTION FROM TO Unappropriated Surplus $57,580 Div. of Administration Public Works Dept. County Urban Road System Kansas City City Projects $57,580
and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Director of Public Works be and hereby is authorized to execute th attached Agreement with the Kansas City Southern Railroad Company in connection with the Longvie Road at Blue Ridge, Project No. 2075.3; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to ake all payments, including final payment of the Agreement.
Attorney Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Ex cutive.
