BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
A 10.5 ± acre tract of land located approximately ½ ± mile west of Ketterman Road on the north side of Pink Hill Road and specifically described as all that part of the East half of the South 60 acres of the Southwest quarter EXCEPT the South 40.00 feet of Section 17, Township 49, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said Southwest quarter lying S 88̊41'58" E, (deed), S 86̊04'21" E, (meas.), East of the Southwest corner thereof, a distance of 661.48 feet; Thence N 01̊02'48" W, (deed), N 01̊34'55" E, (meas.), 40.00 feet to a point on the North right-of-way line of Pink Hill Road, said point being the True Point of Beginning; Thence continuing N 01̊02'48" W, (deed), N 01̊34'55" E, (meas.), 724.71 feet; Thence S 86̊04'21" E, 631.80 feet; Thence S 01̊36'24" W, 724.70 feet, to a point on the North right-of-way line of Pink Hill Road; Thence N 88̊41'58" W (deed), N 86̊04'21" W (meas.), along said right-of-way line, 631.46 feet to the True Point Of Beginning, EXCEPT that part conveyed to the County of Jackson for additional right-of-way for Pink Hill Road by instrument recorded June 5, 1991 as document No. I-1043929 in Book I-2131 at page 606, containing 10.5 acres more or less.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Duke and Paula Yocum (RZ-2006-417), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on October 19, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
