WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Request for Proposals (RFP) 56-20 for the lease of County park land for the planting and harvesting of hay and crops; and,
WHEREAS, a total of seven notifications were distributed and four responses were received; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the leases be divided and awarded to the bidders submitting the highest and best bids for each parcel under the terms and conditions of RFP 56-20; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in leases with the respective bidders as follows:

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of hay and crop leases to Craig Summers of Holden, MO, and Standard P Enterprises, LLC, of Lee’s Summit, MO, as the highest and best bidders under the terms and conditions of RFP 56-20; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
