RESOLUTION NO. 22226, April 6, 2026

 

INTRODUCED BY Donna Peyton, County Legislator

 

 

Body

 WHEREAS, various County departments have a need to contract for technology hardware, software, and professional services; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for technology hardware, software, and professional services for use by various County departments to Logicalis, Inc. of Troy, MI, under the terms and conditions set forth in 1GPA National Purchasing Cooperative Contract No. 22-02PV-12, a competitively bid government contract; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Logicalis, Inc., under the existing government contract due to the higher volume discounts offered to larger entities; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends an expiration date of December 8, 2026 to match contract terms end dates; and,

 

 

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases remaining subject to annual appropriation, with $2,000,000.00 of estimated annual spending for 2026; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Interim Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
