Body
WHEREAS, the City of Grain Valley, Missouri, has requested the use of $20,076.00 from its CURS ref nd account for street repairs within its city limits and for the repaving of the intersection of rigadoon and Ryan Road in conjunction with the Ryan Road improvements; and,
WHEREAS, of this sum, $18,576.00 will be paid to the City for street repairs and $1,500.00 will be utilized by the Public Works Department within its budget for the Ryan Road Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the road maintenance projects proposed by the City will benefi the citizens of Grain Valley and the citizens of Jackson County; and,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropria ion be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CHARACTER/DESCRIPTION FROM TO Unappropriated Surplus $20,076 Div. of Administration Public Works Dept. County Urban Road System Grain Valley City Projects $20,076
and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $18,576.00 to the City of Grai Valley for use in the City's 1995 road maintenance program.
Attorney Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Ex cutive.
