Body
WHEREAS, Kansas City Power & Light of Kansas City, MO, has requested an easement for the relocation of overhead power lines that cross the Truman Sports Complex property; and,
WHEREAS, Kansas City Power & Light of Kansas City, MO, will remove all unnecessary structures and vacate existing and unnecessary easements at the Truman Sports Complex location after the relocation of the overhead power lines is complete; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that the County execute the attached easement as in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Easement Conveyance is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the Easement on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
