AN ORDINANCE amending the zoning districts established pursuant to the Unified Development Code by rezoning a certain 5.24± acre tract from District AG (Agricultural) to District LI (Light Industrial).

Body

 BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) and “LI” (Light Industrial) Districts, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District LI a tract of land located at 814 SE Sunnyside School Road in Jackson County, MO, legally described as follows:

 

Description: A parcel of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 49, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 32; thence North 02 Degrees, 13 minutes, 57 seconds East along the West line of said Southwest Quarter Section, 589.54 feet to the True Point of Beginning of this description; thence continuing North 02 Degrees, 13 minutes, 57 seconds East, 89.90 feet along the forementioned Southwest Quarter Section; thence North 84 degrees, 26 minutes 32 seconds East, 624.32 feet to the point of a curve to the right having a radius of 1482.39 feet and an interior angle of 27 degrees, 59 minutes, 55 seconds; thence continuing along said curve to the right an arc distance of 724.40 feet; thence South 04 degrees 42 minutes 59 seconds East, 38.67 feet; thence South 65 degrees 49 minutes, 56 seconds East 13.33 feet; thence South 01 degrees, 52 minutes, 45 seconds West, 91.98 feet; thence North 85 degrees, 17 minutes, 18 seconds West 591.33 feet; thence South 04 degrees, 42 minutes, 42 seconds West, 20.00 feet; thence North 85 degrees, 17 minutes, 18 seconds West, 758.24 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Subject to road rights of way.

 

 

 

 

 

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of the Brad & Carrie Eldridge Trust (RZ-2023-648), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 5 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on June 1, 2023, does hereby adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
