(Residential Ranchette) a certain 10± acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

                     Description:

 

The 10 ± acres are located at the northwest corner of Hammond Road and Corn Road and are specifically described as all that part of the west 40 acres of the south ½ of the southeast ¼ of Section 35, Township 48, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as: 

 

Beginning at a point on the south line of said ¼ section 484.62 feet east of the southwest corner thereof; thence north 0 degrees 04 minutes east parallel to the west line of said ¼ section, 123 feet; thence east parallel to the south line of said ¼ section 175.38 feet; thence north 0 degrees 04 minutes east parallel to the west line of said ¼ section 539.46 feet to a point 660 feet south of the north line of said west 40 acres; thence south 89 degrees 48 minutes 52 seconds east parallel to the north line of said west 40 acres 658.01 feet to the east line of said west 40 acres; thence south 0 degrees 04 minutes west along said east line and parallel to the west line of said ¼ section 660.35 feet to the south line of said ¼ section; thence west along said south line 833.38 feet to the point of beginning, except that part in road a/k/a 33404 E. Hammond Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Timothy Moulis (RZ-2006-391), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of this application at a public hearing on February 16, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
