A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to make application for the Victim Services Volunteer Coordinator Grant from the Missouri Department of Public Safety.

INTRODUCED BY Ed Growney, County Legislator
Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Public Safety provides funding for the Prosecuting Attorney's Victim Services Volunteer Program; and,
WHEREAS, this program serves crime victims; and,
WHEREAS, the total state share of the grant is $81,287.14 with the local match of $20,321.79; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the attached grant application, incorporated herein by reference.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
