BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
A 3.01 ± acre tract of land generally located ¼ ± of a mile west of Middleton Road on the west side of Stonehaus Drive and specifically described as:
Commencing from the Northwest corner of Southwest quarter of Section 25, Township 48, Range 31, Jackson County, Missouri; thence South 02 degrees 19 minutes 20 seconds West, along the West line of said Southwest quarter a distance of 1128.50 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence South 88 degrees 00 minutes 15 seconds East a distance of 386.00 feet; thence North 02 degrees 19 minutes 20 seconds East a distance of 75.00 feet; thence South 87 degrees 40 minutes 40 seconds East a distance of 150.00 feet; thence South 52 degrees 34 minutes 48 seconds East a distance of 310.93 feet to a point on the Northerly Right of Way line of STONEHAUS DRIVE as now established; thence South 78 degrees 35 minutes 57 seconds West along said Northerly Right of Way line of STONEHAUS DRIVE, a distance of 67.28 feet to a point of curvature; thence along a curve to the Left of said Right of Way, said curve having a radius of 325.00 feet, a central angle of 19 degrees 52 minutes 18 seconds, an arc length of 112.72 feet; thence North 87 degrees 40 minutes 40 seconds West along the North line of Lot 3 of STONEHAUS FARMS 2nd PLAT, a subdivision in Jackson County Missouri, a distance of 622.30 feet to a point on the West line of the Southwest quarter of Section 25, Township 48, Range 31; thence North 02 degrees 19 minutes 20 seconds East along said West line of the Southwest quarter, a distance of 162.55 feet to the Point of Beginning. Contains 3.01 acres, more or less.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Brett and Jaque Euritt (RZ-2006-393), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of this application at a public hearing on March 16, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
