BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
A 15 ± acre tract of land generally located ½ mile south of Cline Road on the west side of Missouri Route R Highway (Outer Belt Road) and more specifically described as:
A portion of the of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 5, Township 47 North, Range 29 West, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence N 88°02'06"W along the North line of said quarter quarter Section for 30.00 feet to the West right of way line of Route "F" Highway; thence S 2°00'55"W along said right of way line for 786.00 feet; thence N 88°02'06"W, parallel to the North line of said quarter quarter section, for 831.50 feet; thence N 2°00'55"E for 788.00 feet to said North line; thence S 88°02'06"E for 831.50 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Tasunke Witko Development Co. (RZ-2000-218), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, by a vote of 4-1, recommended this application in a public hearing on November 16, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
