IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 8.66 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2777, February 2, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: Description: A 8.66 ñ acre tract generally located 2/10 of mile north of Colbern Road on the west side of Stillhouse Road and more specifically described as a parcel of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 48, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said quarter section; thence S87 47'37"E along the south line of said quarter section, a distance of 1622.21 feet to the centerline of Stillhouse Road as shown on the plat of EDGEWILD, a subdivision of land in Jackson County, thence N01 53'7"W (plat = N01 53'36"W) along said centerline, a distance of 593.91 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing N01 53'57"W along said centerline, a distance of 170.66 feet; thence along a curve to the right having a radius of 600.00 feet and an arc length of 331.72 feet; thence N29 46'40"E along said centerline, a distance of 40.94 feet to a point on the north line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said section; thence N87 46'20"W along said north line of 333.08 feet to the northwest corner of said quarter-quarter section; thence continuing N87 46'20"W along the north line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said quarter section, a distance of 333.82 feet to the southeast corner of the west 30 acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said section; thence S33 33'08"W, a distance of 581.64 feet; thence N00 00'00"E, a distance of 404.23 feet; thence S78 14'46"E, a distance of 202.59 fee; thence S85 18'58"E, a distance of 292.69 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Sandy Kennell (RZ-98-092), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on January 15, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
