Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance #3621, dated March 28, 2005, the County Legislature did authorize the execution of a Cooperative Agreement with the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force ("Drug Task Force") for the use of Anti-Drug Sales Tax Funds to cover the overtime costs and investigation expenses; and,
WHEREAS, the Drug Task Force now desires to extend the expiration date of the Agreement from October 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute an extension Agreement for the Drug Task Force at no additional cost to the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final
payment, on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
