Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 16484, dated December 10, 2007, the Legislature approved an expenditure for the regional ETAC computer database service for the Sheriff's Office; and,
WHEREAS, access to the computer database is necessary so deputies can identify outstanding warrants during traffic stops, among other reasons; and,
WHEREAS, due to a miscommunication and the close out of the 2007 fiscal year in December 2007, the invoice was not paid in the proper fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the funds required to pay the 2007 invoice in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
