INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11264, dated April 29, 1996, the Legislature authorized the County Executive to execute an agreement with Public Water Supply District #16, in connection with the Fields Road Bridge Replacement Project, No. 2314, to relocate certain waterline facilities; and,
WHEREAS, upon the review of borings of the subsurface conditions at the site, it has been determined that additional work is needed due to the unanticipated presence of rock; and,
WHEREAS, to effect this additional work for the relocation, the County and the Public Water Supply District #16, have negotiated the attached Addendum No. 1 to agreement, with costs to be paid by the County in the amount of $2,273.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Addendum No. 1 to agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the Addendum on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
