WHEREAS, the Office of State Courts Administrator has awarded the Family Court Division a grant in the amount of $18,194.00 to be used for the Domestic Relations Supervised Therapeutic Visitation Program; and,
WHEREAS, the grant, which requires no local matching funds, has a term from July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the appropriate spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the fund balance of the 2008 Grant Fund:
