Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department has a need to purchase three (3) Tuff Dawg trailers for use to transport heavy equipment and mowers throughout the County parks system; and,
WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 26-017 for the purchase of these trailers; and,
WHEREAS, notifications were distributed and viewed through Bonfire, with two (2) responses received and evaluated from the following:

Roadbuilders Machinery & Supply Co., Inc
Kansas City, KS
and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award of a contract for the furnishing of three (3) Tuff Dawg trailers to Rockland Cargo Equipment of Conyers, GA, as the lowest and best bid received; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Interim Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
