IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI
AN ORDINANCE transferring $49,429.00 within the 2003 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund and appropriating $210,429.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 2003 Grant Fund to cover the STOP Violence Against Women Grant for the Prosecuting Attorney's office funded by the Missouri Department of Public Safety.

WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary so that the proceeds of the STOP Violence Against Women Grant and required matching funds can be placed in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2003 Grant Fund to cover the STOP Violence Against Women Grant for the Prosecuting Attorney's office funded by the Missouri Department of Public Safety:
