BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:

The 10 ± acres are generally located east of Arnett Road on the north side of Stony Point School Road and specifically described as part of the North 50 acres of the South 60 acres of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, Township 48, Range 30, as said tract is described in Missouri Warranty Deed recorded as Document No. 200210019715 in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:  Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, Township 48, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri; thence North 01 degrees 55 minutes 34 seconds East (This bearing and all following bearings being based on State Plane Grid North as established using R.T.K. G.P.S. equipment and referenced to Kansas City Metro Control Station JA-11), along the East line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 9, a distance of 329.97 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 88 degrees 07 minutes 40 seconds West, parallel to the South line of said quarter section, a distance of 1050.63 feet; thence North 01 degrees 53 minutes 54 seconds East, a distance of 414.81 feet; thence South 88 degrees 06 minutes 06 seconds East, a distance of 1050.83 feet to a point on the East line of said quarter section; thence South 01 degrees 55 minutes 34 seconds West, along said East line, a distance of 414.33 feet to the Point of Beginning.  Containing 10.00 acres, aka 30708 Stony Point School Road.

 

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Curtis Aubuchon (RZ-2007-4339), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on June 21, 2007, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
