BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

The 21.5 ± acres are generally located 1/4 of a mile west of Buckner Tarsney Road on the north side of Burgess Road and specifically described as:
All that part of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 50, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said Quarter Section: Thence North 89̊32'21" East, along the South line of said Half Quarter Section, a distance of 556.00 feet to the Point of Beginning of the tract of land herein described; Thence North 00̊37'10" West, along a line running parallel with the West line of said Half Quarter Section, a distance of 1221.00 feet; Thence North 89̊32'21" East, along a line running parallel with the South line of said Half Quarter Section, a distance of 373.87 feet; Thence South 00̊31'57" East, along a line 382.00 feet West of, as measured normal to, and running parallel with the East line of said Half Quarter Section, a distance of 122100 feet to a point on the South line of said Half Quarter Section; Thence South 89̊32'21" West, along the said South line, a distance of 372.02 feet to the Point of Beginning and; All that part of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 50, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of said Quarter Section; Thence North 00̊37'10" West, along the West line of said Quarter Section, a distance of 1281.00 feet; Thence North 89̊32'21" East, along a line running parallel with the South line of said Half Quarter Section, a distance of 376.00 feet; Thence South 00̊37'10" East, along a line 376.00 feet East of, as measured normal to, and running parallel with the West line of said Quarter Section, a distance of 1281.00 feet, to a point on the South line of said Half Quarter Section; Thence South 89̊32'21" West, along said South line, a distance of 376.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The preliminary plat "Finn Estates," creating a four-two lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved.
Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Jerry and Linda Gass (RZ-2004-350), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 15, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
