Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Social Services, Division of Youth Services, has awarded a grant in the amount of $131,576.00 to the Family Court Division of the Circuit Court for its Facilitating Treatment Delivery Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Facilitating Treatment Delivery Project addresses the need to orchestrate the development and maintenance of integrated systems of care for emotionally-disturbed/ mentally-disordered juveniles within County juvenile facilities, specifically Hilltop and McCune Residential Centers; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts for use by the Family Court Division; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2007 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
