AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 15 + acre tract.

ORDINANCE 2971,   November 1, 1999

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

          A 15 ñ acre tract of land generally located at the northwest corner of County Line Road (Johnson County) and County Line Road (Cass County) and more specifically described:  That part of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 33, Township 47, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said quarter quarter section , thence south 89 26'52" west along the south line of said quarter quarter section a distance of 1345.06 feet to the southwest corner of said quarter quarter section.  Thence north 00 02'34" west along the west line of said quarter quarter section a distance of 506.58 feet, thence north 89 31'27" east a distance of 1345.42 feet to the east line of said quarter quarter section; thence south along the east line of said quarter quarter section a distance of 504.79 feet to the point of beginning.  Subject to the right-of-way of County Line Road on the east and south sides.

 

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Herbert Armstrong (RZ-99-168), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on October 21, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning. Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
