IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the Prosecuting Attorney to execute a Second Addendum to the Agreement with Central Kansas City Mental Health Services, to provide for treatment of drug court clients, at no additional cost to the County. Intro RESOLUTION #10613, January 23, 1995 INTRODUCED BY Lisa White Hardwick, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, by Resolution 9996, the County did, on November 29, 1993, enter into a fourteen-month Agreement with Central Kansas City Mental Health Services to provide for substance abuse treatment services for clients of the Prosecuting Attorney's Deferred Prosecution and Drug Court Diversion Program, which contract was thereafter extended by Resolution 10173 dated February 7, 1994; and, WHEREAS, the parties now desire to extend the term of this agreement from December 31, 1994, through January 31, 1995, at no additional cost to the County; and, WHEREAS, the attached Second Addendum to Agreement adequately sets forth the agreement and understanding of the parties with regard to this extension; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Prosecuting Attorney be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Second Addendum to Agreement with Central Kansas City Mental Health Services; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement and Addendum thereto. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
