AN ORDINANCE appropriating $4,543.48 from the fund balance of the 2010 Park Fund in acceptance of donations made in memory of Buzz Seese, to be used specifically for improvement to the Little Blue Trace Trail.

Body
WHEREAS, Buzz Seese was an avid supporter of the Little Blue Trace Trail, frequently biking along the trail; and,
WHEREAS, upon Mr. Seese's death, the family created "The Little Blue Trace Bike Trail-Buzz Seese Memorial Fund" to collect donations to help maintain the trail for future generations and has purchased a plaque to place on the trail in his memory; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the donated funds in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and is hereby made:
