Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 180-99 for the furnishing of vinyl sign making supplies for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from R & J Sign Supply Company of St. Louis, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to R & J Sign Supply Company of St. Louis, MO; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
