AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 5.6 ± acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

The 5.6 ± acres is less than ½ mile east of Bynum road on the south side of Bynum  Spur Road and specifically described as:

 

A tract of land being located in the northwest 1/4 of the northeast 1/4 of section 18 township 47 north range 29 west of the 5th principal meridian. Commencing at the North 1/4 corner of aforesaid section 18-47-29; thence with the north line of said section, S88̊02'50"E, 60.00' to the Point of Beginning; thence leaving said point of beginning S02̊31'49"W, 665.22'; thence S88̊02'50"E, 367.27' to the east top of bank of Sni-A-Bar Creek as established by the existing fence line; thence with said east top of bank, N02̊38'53"E, 82.13'; thence N01̊41'30"E; S83.06' to a point on the north line of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 section 18-47-29; thence with said section line N88̊02'50"W, 358.91' back to the Point of Beginning and containing 241,937.30 sq. ft. or 5.55 acres. Subject to any road Rights-of-Way and easements as may now be established, aka 36407 E. Bynum Spur Road.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Carol Long-Switalzki (RZ-2004-342), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 20, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
