Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids for the furnishing of ammunition for use by the Sheriff's Office, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Drug Task Force, and the Department of Corrections; and,
WHEREAS, a total of fifteen (15) solicitations were distributed and two (2) responses were received; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the responsive bids received, the Director has recommended that the contract be split and awarded to the bidders submitting the lowest and best bids for each item; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in estimated awards to the following bidders:
Simmons Gun Specialties Items 1 - 7 and 9 - 12
Spring Hill, KS
Ray O'Herron Company Item 8
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payments.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
