Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 60-94 for the furnishing of water treatment services for use by the Building and General Services and Public Works Departments to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

Blue Valley Laboratories $5,940.00 Mission, KS
Bubeck Tech. Services 6,376.44 Lenexa, KS
Industrial Chemical Co. 6,456.00 Omaha, NE
and, WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Blue Valley Laboratories of Mission, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefo e,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to he using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
