Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 18213, dated July 15, 2013, the Legislature did authorize a twelve-month term and supply contract, with four twelve-month options to extend, for the furnishing of ATM machines at the Kansas City Courthouse and the Eastern Jackson County Courthouse, under the terms and conditions of RFP No. 35-13, at no cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, with the opening of the Historic Truman Courthouse and the relocation of the Collection and Assessment Departments to that facility, is necessary for an ATM machine to be placed at that location, at no additional cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, under the terms of the proposed addendum to the contract with Universal Money, the County will generate revenue from the additional ATM and the previously authorized ATM at the Eastern Jackson County Courthouse after the first 100 monthly transactions, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute an addendum to the contract with Universal Money, Inc., at no cost to the County, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
