Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 10763 dated April 3, 1995, a contract was awarded for the furnishing of one John Deere Gator 6x4 utility vehicle from Harrisonville Tractor Company, Inc., of Harrisonville, MO; and,
WHEREAS, due to this purchse the Parks and Recreation Department now has a 1993 John Deer AMT four wheel drive utility vehicle, Serial #W00626X010435, that has become excess property; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared this vehicle surplus; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends that the surplus vehicle be used as a trade-in for credit against the purchase price of a John Deere Gator 6x4 utility vehicle; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus property by way of a trade-in against the
John Deere Gator 6x4 utility vehicle from Harrisonville Tractor Company, Inc. of Harrisonville, MO.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
