Body
WHEREAS, Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments have a need for the furnishing of grounds equipment for departmental operations; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1040.4 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve month (12) term and supply contract for the furnishing of grounds equipment for use by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments to John Deere Company of Cary, NC, under the terms and conditions of an existing government contract of the State of Oklahoma; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1064. of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award be made under the following contract:
RECOMMENDED VENDOR CONTRACT
John Deere Company State of Oklahoma
of Cary, NC #SW50190
and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchase is subject to annual appropriations; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to John Deere Company of Cary, NC, under the terms and conditions of an existing government contract of the State of Oklahoma and that the Director of Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
