IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION rescinding Resolution 10570, dated December 5, 1994, vacating two permanent drainage easements in connection with the Stringtown Culvert No. 17 Replacement, Project No. 2299, and accepting replacement easements. Intro RESOLUTION #11555, January 6, 1997 INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, by Resolution 10570, dated December 5, 1994, the Legislature did authorize the acquisition of permanent drainage easements in connection with the Stringtown Culvert No. 17 Replacement, Project No. 2299; and, WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has determined that legal descriptions on two easements so acquired, and subsequently recorded as documents I-1319800, Book I-2543, Page 1608, and I- 1330772, Book I-2664, Page 1399, were incorrectly written; and, WHEREAS, the Public Works Department recommends the vacation of these easements and the acceptance of replacement easements from the same grantor; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the easements recorded as documents I-1319800, Book I-2643, page 1608, and I-1330772, Book I-2664, Page 1399, and hereby are vacated; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to effect this vacation, in a form prepared by the Public Works Department and approved by the County Counselor; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that two replacement easements be and hereby are accepted; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution 10570, dated December 5, 1994, be and hereby is rescinded...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
