Body
WHEREAS, Director of Public Works recommends a contract whereunder the City of Kansas City would provide certain Animal Control Services to the County for specified compensation; and,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has now requested that the attached Agreement for Animal Control Services with the City of Kansas City, be approved; and,
WHEREAS, this Agreement is in the best interest of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County: and,
WHEREAS, a transfer within the 2003 Health Fund is necessary in order to fund this expenditure; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
