IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 149-97 for the furnishing of petroleum products for use by various departments to Farmland Industries of N. Kansas City, MO ($24,711.65), Heathwood Oil of Kansas City, KS ($4,269.51), and Lowe Oil of Clinton, MO ($1,953.75), to provide for their needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated aggregate amount of $30,934.91. Intro RESOLUTION # 12045, February 17, 1998 INTRODUCED BY John Patrick Burnett, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 149-97 for the furnishing of petroleum products for use by various departments; and, WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and, WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in awards to the following vendors: VENDOR ESTIMATED AWARD Farmland Industries $24,711.65 N. Kansas City, MO Heathwood Oil $4,269.51 Kansas City, KS Lowe Oil $1,953.75 Clinton, MO therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
