Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Corrections has a 2002 Chevrolet Astro Van, VIN number 1GNEL19X82B147216, that the Department has determined is obsolete and is no longer using; and,  
 
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, Missouri, desires to utilize this vehicle and has requested the donation and transfer of title of this obsolete personal property; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the transfer of title of this unusable personal property, pursuant to section 1137.2 Jackson County Code, 1984; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, the 2002 Chevrolet Astro Van identified above and further described and itemized in Exhibit A, be and hereby is declared surplus, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to donate and transfer title this surplus property to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, pursuant to chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.
 
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
