Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 18053, dated January 7, 2013, the Legislature did authorize the execution of a Cooperative Agreement, in the amount of $25,000.00, with the Mattie Rhodes Center for its Youth Violence Prevention Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the original budget presented by the Mattie Rhodes Center due to staffing changes; and,
WHEREAS, under the revised budget, $4,000.00 will be reallocated from contractual services to the personal services budget line; and,
WHEREAS, an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement is a suitable mechanism to memorialize the budget revisions; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with the Mattie Rhodes Center, at no additional cost to the County, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement and Addendum thereto.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
