Body
WHEREAS, the Circuit Court Administrator recommends entering into a new Supplemental Agreement with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Division of Child Support Enforcement for the period July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, this Supplemental Agreement will allow the County to receive federal reimbursement for the Circuit Court's Family Court Division related to child support establishment and enforcement; and,
WHEREAS, this Supplemental Agreement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached Supplemental Agreement with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Division of Child Support Enforcement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
