IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 10 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2885, January 19, 1999 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a 10 ñ acre tract of land generally located at the southeast corner of Dillingham Road and Missouri Route FF (Truman Road), more specifically described as follows: DESCRIPTION: A 10 ñ acre tract of land generally located at the southeast corner of Dillingham Road and Missouri Route FF (Truman Road) and specifically described as: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 49, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, thence North 2 degrees 43 minutes 03 seconds East along the West line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of a distance of 37.93 feet to the South Right of Way line of Missouri Route FF as now established, thence South 87 degrees 14 minutes 59 seconds East along said South line a distance of 461.27 feet, thence South 87 degrees 20 minutes 55 seconds East along said South line a distance of 132.90 feet, thence South 86 degrees 20 minutes 26 seconds East along said South lien a distance of 66.10 feet, thence South 2 degrees 20 minutes 21 seconds West along the East line of the West « of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter a distance of 698.23 feet, thence North 88 degrees 01 minutes 13 seconds West a distance of 660.25 feet to the West line of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter said point being in DILLINGHAM ROAD, thence North 2 degrees 19 minutes 02 seconds East along said West line a distance of 670.00 feet to the point of beginning, Except that part in DILLINGHAM ROAD, aka 2305 Dillingham Road. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Scott Chance (RZ-98-136), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on December 17, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
