AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 5 + acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

DESCRIPTION:  A 5 ± acre tract of land is approximately 2/10 of a mile west of Buckner Tarsney Road on the south side of Colbern Road and more specifically described as:

 

A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 48, RANGE 30, JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

 

COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 48, RANGE 30, THENCE NORTH 88°15'08" WEST, ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID SECTION 27, A DISTANCE OF 991.77 FEET, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE SOUTH 01°59'22" WEST, 665.68 FEET; THENCE NORTH 88°21'32" WEST, TO A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 27, 332.08 FEET; THENCE NORTH 02°10'59" EAST, ALONG SAID WEST LINE, 666.32 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 88°15'08" EAST, 329.83 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 5.0 ACRES MORE OR LESS, AND EXCEPT THAT PART IN COLBERN ROAD.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Tony Siebert (RZ-2000-181), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on February 17, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
