WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a need for flotation replacement at the Blue Springs Marina and replacement of the fish cleaning station top at the Longview Marina; and,
WHEREAS, a total of fifteen (15) solicitations were distributed and five (5) responses were received of which four (4) were "No Bids". The following bid was received:

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for the replacement of flotation at the Blue Springs Marina and replacing the fish cleaning station top at the Longview Marina for the Parks and Recreation Department to Galva Foam Marine Ind. of Camdenton, Mo, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 11-05 as the lowest and best bidder; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, the contract be awarded as recommended by the Director of Purchasing and that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any and all documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
