Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Ordinance #3403, dated September 2, 2003, transfer and appropriate funds as per the grant received by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for the Arrowhead Stadium Recycling Project; and,
WHEREAS, the County desires to extend the grant, for a six month period from August 1, 2003 through January 31, 2005 as outlined in the attached letter dated September 21, 2004 and the extension will be at no additional cost to the County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the six month extension of the Arrowhead Stadium recycling Project grant awarded by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources is approved and the Resource Conservation Coordinator is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the extension; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
