WHEREAS, the Child Protection Center Supplement project administered by the Family Court Division of Jackson County, Missouri has been awarded two grants totaling $15,000.00 from the National Children's Alliance; and,
WHEREAS, the grant funds will cover a therapist's contractual expenses needed for the program and training from January 1, 2006, through December 31, 2006; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 Grant Fund to cover the Child Protection Center Supplement Grant for the Family Court Division funded by the National Children's Alliance:
