Body
WHEREAS, Warren Kremeier, Telecommunication Administrator for the Information Technology Department, is retiring after sixteen years of service to Jackson County and a total of 52 years working in the telecommunications industry; and,
WHEREAS, Warren graduated from the Draughon School of Electronics where he majored in communications equipment and repair; and,
WHEREAS, Warren joined Jackson County upon his retirement from AT&T in 1989, after nearly 29 years of service; and,
WHEREAS, initially Warren was a contract employee for Jackson County before becoming a full-time employee on January 1, 1997, where, since that date, he has planned the professional installations and the modernization of existing telecommunication systems in all of the County buildings; and,
WHEREAS, Warren's hard work and dedication were highlighted in January 2001 when he received an Appreciation Award from the Jackson County Family Court Services in recognition of the hard work he performed in setting up the Family Court's phone system; and,
WHEREAS, in his retirement, Warren is looking forward to spending more time with his wife of 49 years, Paula, and his three children, Lori Sue, Larry, and Michael Dean, and his three grandchildren, Tanner Michelle, Parker Wayne, and Grayson Noah; and,
WHEREAS, Warren is known by his friends and colleagues as the kindest, most trustworthy person they know, and all wish him much happiness in his retirement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Warren Kremeier on his retirement and extends best wishes to him for his dedicated and loyal service to Jackson County.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
