Body
WHEREAS, the County has a continuing need for car wash services for departmental operations; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twenty-nine (29) solicitations were distributed and five (5) responses were received of which two (2) were "No Bids". The following three (3) bids were received:

Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Lee's Summit L.L.C. $6.50
Clayton, MO
Travel Clean Car Wash $7.00

and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract to WhiteWash, Inc., (Spot-Not Car Wash) of Kansas City, MO, as the best and lowest bidder; and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriations; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to WhiteWash, Inc., (Spot-Not Car Wash) of Kansas City, MO, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
