WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department possesses certain personal property that has become excess to the County's needs, itemized as follows:

WHEREAS, these mobile radios and base transceivers are obsolete and unusable; and,

 

                                                                                                                                                   WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends that said property be declared surplus; and,

 

WHEREAS, Section 1131., Jackson County Code, authorizes the disposal of surplus personal property; therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the above personal property described on the attachment is declared surplus and that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it pursuant to Chapter 11, Jackson County Code.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
