Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 11-04 for the replacement of fencing for use by the Parks and Recreation Department at the Kemper Outdoor Education Center; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only bid thereon, a bid from the following:

Acme Fence Company, Inc. Item No. 1:
Grandview, MO Replacement of wooden fence $12,930.00
with Bufftech vinyl fencing at pool area
Item No. 2:
Replacement of wire fence on
north side of park residence $3,420.00
with Bufftech post and rail 3
rail fencing
Item No. 3:
Provide and install 145 lineal feet
of Bufftech post and rail fencing
on north side of shelter house $2,939.00
Total $19,289.00
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Acme Fence Company, Inc., of Grandview, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the County Executive and Purchasing Director be, and are hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including final payment on this contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
