WHEREAS, the County has received a grant from the Mid-America Regional Council Solid Waste Management District for the Truman Sports Complex Recycling Project; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place proceeds from the grant in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation as an amendment to her proposed 2003 County budget; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Truman Sports Complex Recycling Grant from the Mid-America Regional Council Solid Waste Management District be and hereby is accepted and the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to effectuate the acceptance of this grant.

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the County Executive.
